F2000 is a quite effective 2 star unit, featuring a decent Formation buff and a strong Skill that grants her high effectiveness in the early game. For players who need a budget AR option, F2000 can hold her own fairly well even into the mid and late game, but her low Damage cap means that her damage-dealing potential does not scale as well into the late game when compared to some of the higher-rarity ARs.
Good Targeted Damage
F2000’s single-target damage potential is quite good for a 2-star unit due to her high RoF and Damage Focus Skill.
Decent Formation Buff
F2000’s Formation buff only affects the square directly in front of her, but it provides a significant Evasion and Damage buff to the affected SMG.
Lowest Max Damage among ARs
F2000’s Damage cap is the lowest among ARs, meaning that she does not scale terribly well into the late game despite her Skill.
F2000 has very polarizing stats, with an exceptional RoF cap but an abysmal Damage cap. Like FAMAS, with whom F2000 is tied for the highest RoF cap, if provided with the right Formation buffs F2000 can output significant damage in the early game. Also like FAMAS, F2000 has a low Damage cap which makes her somewhat weaker than other ARs with more well-rounded stats in the late game.
Unlike FAMAS, however, F2000 has the Damage Focus Skill, which makes her more viable in later missions. At maximum level, this Skill grants F2000 a 55% Damage boost for 5 seconds after a 5 second Initial Cooldown. Although significantly weaker than the Damage Focus buffs of higher rarity ARs such as G36 or G41, F2000’s Damage Focus skill makes her a better mid to late game damage dealer than most other 2 and 3 star ARs.
F2000’s Formation buff is also decent for AR/SMG Echelons, as it provides a 10% Evasion boost and a 20% Damage boost to the SMG directly in front of her. This is a significant boon for grenade-skill SMGs who can benefit heavily from the Damage boost, but is an all-around decent Formation buff for any SMG due to the Evasion increase.
Overall, F2000 is a decent budget AR due to her strong Skill and decent Formation buff, but she falls short of being higher tier because of her low Damage cap. F2000 has just enough power in her overall kit for players who need a workable backup AR to fill the last slot in an AR/SMG Echelon, but she should still generally only be used if no better AR options are available.
SMGs with Damage/Crit formation buffs
F2000 best pairs with SMGs that can bolster her low Damage with their formation buffs, such as UMP45, G36C, and Ingram.
HGs with Damage Formation Buffs or Skills
Similarly, F2000 also benefits greatly from HGs who can increase her damage, such as Grizzly, SAA, or Makarov.
The standard F formation allows F2000 to mutually benefit from one or both of the frontline SMGs. Ideally, she should be placed in the top left position of the formation so that an AR with a wider-reaching Formation buff can be placed in the middle position to buff both SMGs.
Introduced in 2001, the F2000 is a modular bullpup style rifle developed to answer the call for a compact shoulder-fired weapon that provided more stopping power than SMGs. The F2000 adopted the safety/trigger system and the ambidextrous nature of its spiritual predecessor, the P90 personal defense weapon, but uses a more conventional bullpup loading system and standard 5.56X45mm NATO assault rifle rounds. In recent years the F2000 has found use in several military and police special forces groups because of its customization options and durability.
